Red Light Therapy

Restore Red Light Therapy offers a safe, natural way to support health and vitality. This non-invasive treatment reduces inflammation, eases pain, improves mobility, enhances sleep, and rejuvenates skin. By promoting healing and energy at the cellular level, it helps residents feel their best—every single day.

AUGi AI Fall Prevention

AUGi is a discreet, wall-mounted smart device that uses AI technology to track movement and detect potential fall risks. Whether sensing when someone is getting out of bed or recognizing that a fall has occurred, AUGi instantly alerts our care team so help arrives right away. This proactive approach gives residents added safety and families peace of mind.

On-Site Therapy

We know that preparing for offsite doctors’ visits can be overwhelming for our residents. That’s why we offer the convenience of onsite medical services, including visiting primary care doctors, physical and occupational therapists, podiatrists, geriatric psychiatrists, and more, as well as a pharmacy partner.

Healthspan, not just lifespan

The WHO defines healthy aging as maintaining functional ability that enables well-being (WHO, 2024). That is the lens for every care plan.

Visiting primary care, podiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and therapy come right to you through Restore — sparing the hassle of outside appointments and keeping families close and informed.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What's included in the monthly fee at Áegis Living?
The monthly rate covers your private apartment, chef-prepared all-day dining, weekly housekeeping and laundry, a full calendar of activities, transportation, and access to the 24-hour care team and on-site nurse. Personal care services (bathing help, medication management, two-person transfers) are billed by care level so you only pay for what's used.
How is Áegis Living's memory care different from a standard memory care program?
Memory care happens in Life's Neighborhood, a warm, intimate neighborhood staffed by dementia-trained caregivers 24/7 with a nursing team on site seven days a week. The program includes science-based cognitive activities, certified music therapy, and dining spaces designed for memory support, plus gentle mobility support and two-person transfers so residents can keep thriving right where they feel at home.
Can my parent stay at Áegis Living through hospice?
Yes. If your loved one is already an Áegis Living resident, hospice care is provided right in their own apartment by our 24/7 team, working hand in hand with a local hospice agency you choose. The focus stays where it belongs: on comfort, dignity, and cherished time with family, in the home they already know and love.
What is AUGi and is it intrusive?
AUGi is a discreet, wall-mounted smart device that uses AI to detect movement and potential fall risks, including someone getting out of bed at risk, and instantly alerts our care team so help arrives right away, which the CDC identifies as critical given that one in four older adults falls each year (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2024).
Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?
Medicare does not pay for room and board in assisted living or memory care, though it may cover specific medical services like physician visits and short-term rehabilitation. Medicaid acceptance varies by state and community. Your community director can walk you through Veterans Aid & Attendance, long-term care insurance, and other funding options during a tour.
What if my parent's care needs change after move-in?
Care plans are reviewed at 30 days and any time needs change. Because Áegis Living offers Light Assisted Living, Assisted Living, Transitional Care, and warm, secure Memory Care in most communities, your parent can add support as needs evolve, including hands-on mobility help and two-person transfers, without changing addresses or saying goodbye to the care team they trust.
