Our chefs craft fresh, seasonal, dietitian-designed menus served restaurant-style from 7am to 7pm, so residents eat what they like, when they like — including off-menu favorites and therapeutic diets. Familiar dishes spark memories and bring people together, while gentle, dementia-informed cueing and thoughtfully designed dining spaces help every resident dine with comfort and dignity. Infused-water hydration stations throughout the community keep sipping simple and inviting all day long.

What apartment options are available?
Áegis Living Kent offers Companion Suites, where two residents share a living space. Companion Suites can be a wonderful option for residents who enjoy company, and their shared design also makes them a more budget-friendly arrangement in our cozy, home-like memory care community.
How does Áegis Living bill for care?
Áegis Living bills for care based on what each resident actually needs, in addition to the cost of the apartment. Because needs can shift over time — especially with memory loss — your care charges are tailored rather than locked into rigid tiers. What does dining look like for residents with memory loss?
Dining at Áegis Kent is all-day and flexible, so residents can eat when they're hungry — whether that's a late 2 p.m. lunch or a midnight snack. Menus are personalized with favorite meals from each stage of life, comforting classics, and even beloved family recipes, and residents are supported through every meal to make sure they're well nourished.

Do you offer short-term or trial stays?
Yes. Through our Respite Care program, families can arrange a short-term stay — which is a wonderful way to experience the community firsthand, give a family caregiver a break, or support recovery after a hospital visit. Many families use respite as a comfortable introduction before considering a longer-term move.
