Áegis Lodge provides a full continuum of senior care, including Light Assisted Living for residents needing minimal help, traditional Assisted Living for daily support, and Transitional Care for those moving between care levels. We also offer our award-winning Life's Neighborhood Memory Care, plus Respite Care for short-term stays and Hospice Care in partnership with outside providers.

Our memory care community, called Life's Neighborhood, is specifically designed for residents living with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other forms of memory loss. It offers a secure, calming lodge environment with specialized programming, trained staff, and the same connection to nature that defines the rest of the community, helping residents feel safe, engaged, and at home.

Pricing is based on your chosen apartment plus a care level determined by an individualized assessment of your needs. Rather than locking you into a rigid package, Áegis bills for care as it's actually needed, so the cost adjusts if your needs change over time. We'd be happy to walk you through current rates and apartment availability during a personal visit.

Áegis Lodge offers a wide variety of floor plans, including multiple studio layouts (Plans 2, 3, and 4), one-bedroom apartments in three plan variations, two-bedroom options, and additional bedroom configurations. With so many layouts, residents can find a home that fits their lifestyle, whether they prefer a cozy studio or more spacious one- or two-bedroom living.

Dining is one of the true highlights, with seasonal chef-crafted menus, chef's tables, off-menu ordering, and accommodations for special diets and personal preferences. Meals are served in our panoramic woodland dining room with treehouse views, and family and friends are always welcome to join for brunch or coffee and dessert by the fire.

With more than 200 monthly programs, residents have plenty to choose from, including gardening in raised beds, a walking club on our forested paths, interactive TED-style talks, creative classes, live music, cooking demonstrations, and movie nights by the fire. Our boutique scale also means outings to Kirkland cafés and Woodinville wineries feel intimate and social.

Yes, pets are warmly welcomed at Áegis Lodge—we know they're family. With private walking trails, wetlands views, and sun-dappled courtyards right outside the door, the community is an especially lovely place for residents and their furry companions to enjoy the natural beauty of the Northwest together.

The community provides 24/7 care with onsite nurses available daily and an onsite physical therapy center for rehabilitation and ongoing wellness. We're also located just seconds from EvergreenHealth Medical Center in Totem Lake, offering peace of mind for residents and families if higher-level medical care is ever needed.

Yes, our Respite Care program is ideal for short-term stays, whether you're recovering from a hospitalization, giving a family caregiver a break, or simply wanting to experience life at the Lodge before committing long-term. Respite guests enjoy the same dining, activities, and care services as full-time residents.

Absolutely—family and friends are always welcome, and we love when they join residents for meals, happy hour, or social events. We also offer a Companion Suite that can accommodate overnight guests, and gathering spaces like the great room with its stone fireplace make visits feel relaxed and homey.
