World’s Greenest Senior Community
Opening January 2022
Aegis Living Lake Union will be the first assisted living community to meet the rigorous global green/sustainability building standards with a Living Building Challenge certification and is participating in the City of Seattle’s Living Building Pilot Program. The community will be built to be emission-free.
Located in the heart of Seattle’s lakefront parks and activities, our Aegis Living Lake Union community is inspired by the 1936 Olympic rowing team’s story, captured in the New York Times bestseller, The Boys in the Boat. The community’s architecture resembles a shell house design and will feature 79 assisted living and memory care apartments.
