Aegis Living, a leader in senior housing, has launched eMARS, an improved medication distribution system, using Microsoft’s Surface. The eMARS program has eliminated paper-based medication records and manual prescription auditing, which is expected to provide savings of more than 11,000 hours each year previously spent auditing prescription records, and increase resident security.
