October 30th Update

Winterizing our Outdoor Living Rooms

As temperatures begin to drop, we’re preparing to make visits safer and more enjoyable. Our design teams have brought some beautiful changes to “winterize” our Outdoor Living Rooms over the next month in every community. We’ve brought in portable electric fireplaces, market lights, and have added walls to use if the temperatures dictate, to be sure everyone is warm and comfortable during visits. Our West Seattle Living Room has even gotten some fall-inspired décor!

Where We Stand Today

We strive every day to have zero infections in our communities, ensuring rigor in discipline in the execution of our infection control protocols and practices. We are diligently following strict safety protocols and go above and beyond the CDC guidelines in our communities. This week, we are happy to report that we have zero cases amid our 2,200 residents. We are managing eight cases amid our 2,500 staff members in communities including Bellevue, Newcastle, Madison, Queen Anne Galer, Issaquah, San Francisco, Moraga and Dana Point. We always do consistent and rigorous contact tracing and testing to control the spread and protect our residents and staff. Our Communities Celebrate Halloween

It’s Halloween week and Aegis team members and residents are celebrating with some amazing activities all over our communities. In Rogers Park in Queen Anne, our amazing Life Enrichment team threw residents a festive Halloween get-together, complete with pumpkin carving, sweet treats and a sing-along concert from our music therapist. At Granada Hills, our team members went all out in their costumes and surprised residents with door-to-door treats. We even had a contest to determine the favorite costume of the group! It’s been a fun and Spooktacular week and our residents have been enjoying all the festivities.
