October 2nd Update

Aegis Gardens Newcastle Celebrates its Mid-Autumn Festival

This week, Aegis Gardens Newcastle kicked off its Mid-Autumn Festival, a celebration of Chinese heritage and the changing of the seasons. Our very own Mrs. Washington was there at the community to hand out lanterns to families who wanted to join in on the festivities. Each family who participates will be decorating a lantern that will be displayed in our community for our residents. It’s a fun and cheerful way to brighten up the season and bring happiness to our residents.

Where We Stand Today: Zero Resident Cases Companywide

It’s our commitment to keep our residents and staff safe and healthy. Every single day we are doing everything we can to diligently follow strict safety protocols and go above and beyond the CDC guidelines in our communities. This week, we are happy to report that we have zero cases amid our 2,200 residents. We are managing just two cases amid our 2,500 staff members – one at our corporate office in Bellevue and the other at our Moraga community. We always do consistent and rigorous contact tracing and testing to control the spread and protect our residents and staff. We appreciate the support of our families and residents as well.

Connecting with Chat Suites

Our Chat Suites have rolled out to all our communities and our residents are loving the ease and convenience of catching up with their families on the big screen. Easy to see and hear via large scale monitors and state-of-the-art microphones, the Chat Suites have been one of the ways we are keeping our residents consistently connected with their loved ones. The photo below was taken at our Granada Hills community in our “seaside” Chat Suite.
