Our residents and team members are enjoying all that the change of season brings—cooler air, football, pumpkin everything, preparations for all our fall festivities. We are pleased to share that across our communities, we are still seeing incredibly strong protection from vaccination. In the small number of positive COVID-19 cases we have seen since the emergence of the Delta variant, most residents and staff have remained asymptomatic or experienced mild illness.

We will be further protected by a COVID booster. Now that Pfizer boosters for seniors have been given the green light by both the FDA and CDC, we are hosting Pfizer vaccine clinics in our communities, sometimes in conjunction with the flu shot. Moderna and Johnson & Johnson boosters are not yet authorized but we are keeping a close eye on guidance.

We continue to adhere to rigorous infection prevention protocols and are grateful to our families, whose cooperation and support have helped us to keep our residents and team members safe and healthy.
