November 6th Update
Happy 22nd Anniversary to our First Community in Pleasant Hill!
Our first community in Pleasant Hill, CA. which was founded in 1998, celebrated its 22nd anniversary! President of Aegis Living, Kris Engskov, paid a visit to the community for the occasion to express our gratitude for the team’s care and hard work over the years. He also recognized two of our team members, Yatra and Olga, who have been there since the beginning. We’re so proud of the community that started it all – congrats to the entire team at Pleasant Hill!
Where We Stand Today
We continue to ensure rigor in discipline in the execution of our infection control protocols and practices. We are diligently following strict safety protocols and go above and beyond the CDC guidelines in our communities. This week we are managing just two cases among our 2,200 residents and ten cases amid our 2,500 staff members in communities including Granada Hills, Issaquah, Rodgers Park, Shoreline, Madison, Laguna Niguel, Pleasant Hill and San Francisco. We always do consistent and rigorous contact tracing and testing to control the spread and protect our residents and staff. For more resources and information from the CDC visit our Expert & Family Resources page.
Election Day Voting
This week was the election, and one of our Newcastle residents, 100-year-old Evelyn, filled out and signed her ballot alongside her daughter in our Outdoor Living Room. It was such an empowering experience for her, and we are so proud that our residents are continuing to exercise their right to vote.
