March 23rd Update
As Washington state stands alongside California in instituting shelter in place, now is as important time as ever for us all to support one another and stay connected.
Our residents are enjoying their daily in-room activities, virtual visits with family and more. Listen to this story on KUOW to learn more about how we are keeping residents, engaged, comfortable and happy.
Residents and staff at our Aegis Living Marymoor community who tested positive for the coronavirus are recovering well and there are no new cases there at this time. Over the weekend, we learned that a staff member at our Aegis Living Madison community has tested positive. All residents at Aegis Living Madison are receiving health screenings twice a day, staff are being screened at the start of every shift and all are wearing personal protective equipment while working at the community. We are fortunate that no Madison residents are showing signs of illness at this time. In addition, a Medical Director who visits residents at our Granada Hills community in California, was confirmed positive for the coronavirus. All residents and staff who saw the doctor during his last visit on March 12th will continue to undergo thorough health screenings. At this time, no residents or staff at the community are showing signs of illness or have tested positive.
We remain closely aligned with the CDC and public health officials to ensure our infection control and sanitation protocols reflect the most up-to-date standards and guidelines across all communities. Protecting the well-being of our residents and staff remains our top priority.
