March 12th Update

Updated CDC Guidelines

The CDC issued updated guidance this week pertaining to vaccinated populations and long-term care settings. We are working directly with the CDC and local health officials to understand how our local regulations will change in the near term. Across our communities, we follow guidelines from both national and local health authorities. We are hopeful we will have updated guidance soon and are eagerly awaiting the moment when we can bring residents and loved ones together again. We are getting closer each day!

The communities are full of life with small group activities in full swing – from flower arranging to guitar classes, trivia, art projects and more. Everyone is also thrilled to be back dining together again.

Where We Stand Today

We are happy to report that we have zero cases among our 2,200 residents and just one case among our 2,500 staff members. We have seen case numbers rapidly decline since our first vaccination clinics were completed. Our vaccination efforts continue to move full steam ahead, with 96% of residents and 85% of staff already vaccinated.

During this transitional time, we are continuing to follow our infection control and safety practices until we are certain it is safe for us to begin adopting new practices and protocols. If you have questions, we encourage you to review our Frequently Asked Questions and visit trusted sources like the CDC website for more in-depth medical information.
