We are also excited to announce that as of yesterday, July 1^st, COVID-19 vaccination is a condition of employment at Aegis—for both current team members and those who will be joining the company. As a healthcare company entrusted with the care of some of our society’s most vulnerable citizens, we have a responsibility to do everything in our power to keep them—and our team—safe. We know that the COVID-19 vaccine has been and continues to be the most powerful tool we have in our toolbelt. Of course, we will continue to honor both religious and medical exemptions for employees; the small number of exempt employees will be required to wear additional personal protective equipment to ensure safety for all.
