Upcoming Vaccinations

Our Vaccine Task Force is hard at work getting our first COVID-19 vaccination clinics scheduled at all of our communities. Our goal is to get our residents and staff vaccinated as quickly as possible and we’re hopeful that the vaccines will be available for our communities in early January. The COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna showed up to 95% efficacy in preventing COVID-19 disease during the trial phase. Safety is the most important requirement for a vaccine and is assessed in trials by independent experts. Where We Stand Today

We are continuing with our added safety measures and more frequent testing across all communities to ensure we are doing all that we can in fighting the virus. This week, we are managing 32 cases amid our 2,200 residents across the west coast, and 35 among our 2,500 staff members. Happy Holidays

The holidays are in full swing this week, as we get ready for Christmas celebrations across our communities. Our communities have been adorned with festive décor throughout, and our residents have been in the holiday spirit, sharing lots of laughs and smiles. Families have been able to visit their loved ones in our Outdoor Living Rooms and via Chat Suites, and our 12 Days of Holiday Cheer Program was full of holiday-themed activities for our residents to partake in. Although the holidays look a bit different this year, we’ve been so thankful for our amazing staff and the resiliency of our residents who have made our communities thrive. Nothing has brightened our days more than to see our communities come alive this special time of year.
