EPIC 2015

During the three-day journey of EPIC 2015, we met individuals who shared their knowledge and wisdom about health and wellness. We grew wiser for having learned what they have learned about the mind, body, soul and afterlife.

EPIC 2015 Speakers

Ricky WilliamsRicky Williams
Williams held the NCAA all-time career rushing record and won the Heisman Trophy. He was selected 5th overall by the New Orleans Saints in the NFL Draft. After leading the NFL in rushing, Ricky abruptly retired from professional football. He realized he needed to follow his body’s demands for rest and healing – a decision that led to world travels, new perspectives, and lessons from ancient knowledge generally outside the reach of Western civilization.

Diana NyadDiana Nyad
Nyad is the greatest long-distance swimmer in the world. Her world records have led to inductions to many halls of fame. She became a prominent sports broadcaster, filing compelling reports for National Public Radio, ABC’s Wide World of Sports, Fox Sports, and The New York Times. In 2013, Nyad began her fifth bid to swim from Havana, Cuba, to Florida, a distance of about 110 miles, and reached the beach in Key West after 53 hours.

Lindsey was the first Polynesian Explorer and female Fellow in the history of the National Geographic Society. She’s an internationally recognized expert in the field of cultural intelligence – a dynamic, holistic system of knowledge and wisdom based on indigenous science.

Vincente FoxVicente Fox
Fox is a businessman and politician who was president of Mexico from 2000 to 2006. His term in office marked the end of 71 years of uninterrupted rule by the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).

Dr. Wayne DyerDr. Wayne Dyer
Dyer is an internationally renowned author and speaker in the fields of self-development and spiritual growth. He’s the author of over 40 books, including 20 New York Times bestsellers. He is affectionately called the “father of motivation” by his fans.

Cofino is a Stanford Graduate School of Business alum and former Fortune 500 Executive currently living with ALS. He is dedicated to raising money and awareness to find a solution to the devastating disease.

Somers has been a major force in entertainment and business for over three decades. She is the author of 25 books on health and relationships. She has established a physicians’ network, providing her constituency with quality doctors who specialize in integrative and alternative health care.

Dr. Becky SuDr. Becky Su
Su has been practicing medicine since 1985, and practicing acupuncture for more than 20 years. Over the past two decades, she has witnessed firsthand how effective and “magical” alternative medicine approaches can be.

Dr Raymond MoodyDr. Raymond Moody
A philosopher, psychologist, physician and author, Moody is most famous as an author of books about life after death and near-death experiences (NDE), a term that he coined in 1975 in his best-selling book, “Life After Life.”

Anita MoorjaniAnita Moorjani
Moorjani is author of the New York Times best-selling book, “Dying to Be Me: My Journey from Cancer, to Near Death, to True Healing.” Her fascinating and moving near-death experience in early 2006 tremendously changed her perspective on life. Her work is now ingrained with the depths and insights she gained while in another dimension.
