Mountains to the east and hills toward the ocean frame magnificent sunrises and sunsets. Varenna is blessed with clear skies and clean air, yet is only minutes from medical, cultural and recreational venues, as well as major transportation.

If you're an avid golfer, or just taking up the sport, it's a dream come true to live adjacent to the Fountaingrove Golf and Athletic Club. This 18-hole championship golf course with its beautiful fairways and meticulously maintained greens is only part of the attractions of this country club. Tennis courts, dining rooms, and an athletic club add to the attractions. Special memberships are available to residents on a limited basis.

Nature lovers will be in their element. Watch ducks paddling at lake's edge, egrets nesting, and redtail hawks soaring. Glimpse deer silently moving among the oaks. Fountaingrove is known as a safe and friendly neighborhood, with some of the most beautiful homes in Santa Rosa.

Sharing the shore of Fountaingrove Lake, a new city park has preserved the natural ambiance and indigenous wildlife. Bring a picnic lunch, walk the trails, or do a little fishing off our private pier.
