Area Attractions

Aegis of Redmond is located just a few blocks from the heart of downtown Redmond. Nestled along the shore of the Sammamish River, Aegis of Redmond is also called home to ducks, geese, bald eagles, a variety of smaller birds, squirrels, chipmunks and salmon. The river runs parallel to the Burke Gilman Trail as it heads north and cuts to the west where the river flows into the tip of Lake Washington. The river and trail also head southeast along East Lake Sammamish Parkway to Issaquah and the northern tip of Lake Sammamish.

Aegis of Redmond is a half block from the West Lake Sammamish Parkway on and off-ramp of Highway 520. Following Leary Way for three blocks will bring you to Redmond town Center, downtown Redmond and plethora of hotels, restaurants and boutique-style shops.

Less than one mile to the south and you will find the main entrance to Marymoor Park. Marymoor Park is the host to the Velodrome Bicycle Track, an outdoor rock climbing feature, two dog parks and several baseball and soccer fields. Clise Mansion makes it's home here in the park as well. A favorite highlight at the park is the Aegis-sponsored Reflexology Path -- the only one of it's kind in the United States. For more information about the park and the reflexology path, please visit www.metrokc.gov/parks/marymoor.
