Aegis of Edmonds

We are pleased to annonce that Aegis of Edmonds is NOW OPEN!

Aegis of Edmonds is located close to downtown Edmonds and Stevens Hospital. At the community, the latest in innovation and creativity in senior living is apparent including a private movie theater, a cozy library, computer and family room and bistro with a fireplace. A vibrant lifestyle for residents is important and at Aegis activities range from yoga, tai chi, art exhibits, musical concerts, and even community partnerships such as Grandpals, a program where elementary school children practice reading with Aegis residents.

In June 2006, AegisLiving bought the Edmonds property from the Kavatek International Corporation. The site was formerly home to Edmonds Retirement Inn, which was operated by Extendicare, a provider of long-term care and related services. In 2007, we began a $4 million complete remodel of the community. It features expansive common areas and a variety of spacious apartment styles featuring large balconies and northwest views.

Aegis of Edmonds is part of the companys collection of Senior Inns, which offer lower-cost options for seniors who need assisted living services or for those who need memory care.
