Gratitude

Dear Yelba, Diane, Mohammed, and all the care staff, kitchen staff, medical staff, recreation staff , office staff and cleaning staff at Aegis Pleasant Hill who make my husband Peter’s life full of love during Covid times. I wake up each day and am filled with gratitude for all you do. You have become part of his extended family these past 15 months and mine as well. We are all so blessed to have your team watching our… loved ones. Yelba, thank you for making Peter laugh. Mohammed, thank you for being his friend. You see beyond his Alzheimer’s into his soul. Thank you.

Having been a nurse in surgical care, I am more than impressed with the commitment to safety and the well-being of the whole person that is the foundation of care at Aegis. I know how taxing the physical and emotional work of patient care can be, to say nothing of dealing with concerned families!, yet I have never dealt with such consistently kind and accessible support staff as all of you at Moraga. To maintain this high level of care… and yet stave off Covid-19 is remarkable and it could not happen without your dedication at every level of service and leadership. I am so encouraged and comforted that my Dad, Woody Cone, is with you. I appreciate how responsive to our calls you are, and how well you communicate with us, the family. I wish I could look each of you in the eye and say “thank you” with my whole heart for your exceptional efforts. You set the bar for quality care.

I cannot express in words how happy, comforted and peaceful I am about my mom Suzanne Chapman living at Aegis of Laguna Niguel. GM Eric is the best and responds immediately when I contact him. All of the staff are so nice and are great with my Mom. They have handled the covid crisis with a high level of professionalism with an emphasis on the residents physical, as well as mental well being. I am very… impressed. I can’t say enough about this wonderful place that my Mom calls home. She loves it there and feels safe and well cared for and we have peace of mind. We feel very blessed. Thank you staff for all you do.

I want to tell you all how grateful my family is at your powerful, kind and professional approach during this time of Covid 19 crisis. My aunt lives in Aegis of Aptos in Lifes Neighborhood . I have been able to Skype with her weekly and visit with her outside on both sides of the gate. I am beyond words for how happy we are that she is safe looks, sounds and is healthy and happy. Thank you from… the bottom of our hearts. The staff are always going out of their way to support my aunt in connecting with me. I know the contact is very important to my her and for us. Thank you and you should be very proud.

How do I appreciate you, let me count the ways……xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo. You help me sleep at night knowing my mom is safe and happy. Special shout out to the Life Enrichment staff and all of the nurses and aides who help my mom throughout the day!
